Fire Spread Suppression Bag
Description
The FS-BG5 is a fire spread suppression bag designed to help reduce the risk of flames spreading to surrounding equipment and materials if a lithium-ion battery catches fire unexpectedly. It serves as an auxiliary safety accessory for battery storage and transportation at broadcast facilities, rental houses, and on-location productions.
Constructed with double-layer, flame-resistant glass-fiber fabric, the FS-BG5 helps limit and delay the spread of fire. The materials have passed flammability testing in accordance with 14 CFR (FAR) Part 25 criteria used for aircraft interior materials.
The bag accommodates approximately six DUO-C98P-class batteries or five DUO-C150P/DUO-C198P-class batteries, providing a practical solution for safer battery storage and transportation.

- The FS-BG5 is an auxiliary safety accessory and does not guarantee complete containment of flames, smoke, heat, explosions, or toxic gases.
- Do not charge batteries while they are inside the bag.
- The bag is not waterproof and does not provide thermal insulation. Heat may be transmitted to the exterior.
- Always close the zipper and hook-and-loop fastener securely. Do not use the bag if damaged or after exposure to fire.
- Never open the bag if smoke or fire occurs inside.
- The stated storage capacity does not indicate the number of batteries permitted on an aircraft. Always comply with applicable airline regulations and battery terminal protection requirements.
