IBC 2024 is a wrap!

Special thank you to our IDX Europe team that hosted the IDX booth and introduced the next generation of IDX CUE Series products. What’s the new CUE Series? The CUE-J Series of V-mount battery products.

What Are The New CUE-J Series Batteries?

The CUE-J series products have the same reliable, and cost-effective IDX V-mount batteries that are used in demanding power requirements for cameras, lighting, monitor, and audio product applications that customers have come to expect with greater capacity.

Utilizing advanced li-ion cell technology, the IDX CUE-J series batteries have been developed to meet the same high safety standards of previous CUE series products with one (1) D-Tap output with the 80W max and increased Watt hour capacity to maximize the CUE-J series output power.

The increased CUE-J Series power capacity allows the frequent production user to get more out of its IDX batteries and still meet the IATA flight power restrictions. The new CUE-J series of batteries includes three new models: CUE-J98, CUE-J150, and CUE-J198.

All CUE-J series batteries also have one, (1) D-Tap with 80W max output: Over-charge, Over-discharge, Over-current Protection; and are compatible with all IDX V-Mount battery chargers.

Congratulations to our August Winner of the “SHOW US YOUR IDX!”

Collin of PMP Group uses the IDX SL-F50 battery directly on their Atomos Shogun monitor/ recorder. The batteries provide extremely long run time and the utmost dependability in that use, but the icing on the cake is using the USB port on the IDX SL-F50 to power my Sony FX3 camera via the USB port on the camera. This gives the camera truly awesome run time and much-appreciated power redundancy. It’s easy to hot-swap power sources even while recording, and the Sony FX3 behaves like it’s plugged into the wall the whole time.
