All-New IDX B- Mount Batteries Are Here!

Based on our strong history, IDX is pleased to announce the availability of our new B-Mount battery products. What sets IDX B-Mount batteries apart in today’s market is providing a battery product that conforms to the open standard which is accessible to all manufacturers. IDX adheres to the standard B-Mount specifications while adding the dependable features that IDX is known for, such as D-TAP, USB-A, and USB-C PD, and the IDX V-Torch.

What’s The IDX B- Mount Difference?

What makes B-Mount different is the 24V battery standard that features a new side-locking mechanism. The side-locking mechanism makes the B-Mount battery mount very sturdy, and the battery release mechanism is located on the battery, not the battery plate.

IDX B-Mount batteries are more efficient, and they can power cameras and LED lights that require more energy such as the ARRI Alexa 35 and the Black Magic URSA camera products and lighting products such as the ARRI Orbiter which draws 500W of power and needs to be powered via two B-Mount batteries. IDX’s B-Mount products include the new IDX HV-160B and HV-320B, the IDX BL-4SX B-Mount Battery 4ch Simultaneous Quick Charger and the A-HS30B B- Mount to B-Mount Hot-Swap Plate (which allows the user to swap your batteries out without needing to switch off your camera).

Power For All

IDX has also recognized the customer need to power these higher-level camera products in a studio environment and we have introduced the IA-300HV 28V 300W AC Adaptor Power Supply, supplying up to 300W for high power camera and lighting applications.

A Diverse Range Of Products And Applications

The breadth of IDX’s B-Mount product line allows customers to use IDX products in a fully flexible system for both remote and studio productions.

In addition to the B-Mount product line, IDX has continued to develop the USB-C PD available products with the addition of the UC-PD3, which can charge the user B-Mount, V-Mount, Gold-Mount, and Sony SB-U PD battery products.
