IDX System Technology, Inc. sets environmental protection as our priority for the health of our planet.

As part of corporate society responsibility, IDX is licensed to recycle all rechargeable batteries regardless of manufacturer origin in conjunction with Rechargeable Battery Recycling Corporation (RBRC), a non-profit organization.

All of our products are compliant with RoHS which restricts the use of certain hazardous substances in electronic equipment.

IDX is also certified to the ISO 14001 standard. This environmental management standard exists to help organizations minimize how their operations negatively affect the environment.

IDX will receive any of the following rechargeable battery chemistries for recycling:

  • Lead-acid (Pb)
  • Nickel-cadmium (NiCd)
  • Nickel-metal hydride (NiMH)
  • Lithium-ion (Li-ion)

We cannot accept Alkaline or Lithium (non-rechargeable) batteries.
